New to Ainsworth? Here's what small group PT at Soph-Fit involves

If you're based in Ainsworth and searching for personal training nearby, there's a good chance you haven't come across small group PT before, it's a different model to the classes or straight forward gym memberships you'll find closer to home.

Here's what it actually involves, and why it might be worth the short drive into Radcliffe.

What small group PT actually is

Small group PT combines the individual attention of one-to-one personal training with the benefits, and lower cost, of training alongside others. Groups are capped, kept deliberately small, so a coach can genuinely coach everyone in the room, correcting technique, adjusting load, and tracking progress properly, rather than running a class where everyone does the same thing regardless of ability.

Structured, not random

Every session at Soph-Fit sits inside a 12-week training block, with progressive overload built in.That means the plan you're following actually moves forward in a measured way, rather than being a different random workout every time you show up.

Real coaching, not supervision

You'll be assigned a coach who's responsible for your progress specifically, not just whoever happens to be on the floor that day. Progress gets reviewed properly, face to face, roughly every six weeks, looking at more than just numbers on a bar, training, nutrition, recovery, and whatever's actually going on in your week that affects your results.

Injuries, physios and real life are part of the plan

If you're managing an old injury or working with a physiotherapist, that's built into how sessions are adapted, not treated as a reason to sit on the sidelines. Where relevant, we're glad to work alongside whoever's already supporting your recovery.

Worth the trip from Ainsworth?

We're based on Spring Lane in Radcliffe, easily accessible and already serving members from Whitefield, Prestwich and Bury. If what's available closer to home in Ainsworth is either a straight forward gym membership with no real coaching, or classes where you're one of twenty doing the same circuit, small group PT is worth exploring as a genuinely different option.

See it for yourself

The easiest way to know if it's right for you is to try it. Our 6-week trial gives you a proper look at the coaching, the structure and the community, before you commit to anything longer term.
